Project description:
The “The Pannonian Art Path” is a project of the Green Osijek Association, which is one of the three world peace routes, and this project along the bike path also set up additional artistic facilities and installations, which were a special tourist attraction and space for new facilities. All three departments of the Academy (theater, music and art) were involved in the implementation of this project, with 15 students and 8 professors directly involved. The project also encouraged the establishment of a new elective course “Land Art”, which in the academic year 2013/2014. started at the Academy of Arts in Osijek, today the Academy of Arts and Culture. At the end of the project, the results of the joint work of students and professors from Osijek and Novi Sad were presented at the final event in the municipalities of Kneževi Vinogradi and Bilje, and Apatin and Wienna. An art catalog was also published that recorded and described artistic collaboration, networking of academies and their partners as an example of good practice for future projects. This is the first EU project of the Academy in Osijek to empower the institution and build a cross-sectoral network and cooperation with NGOs and local government and self-government.
