Project description:
The project deals with the possibility of transfiguration from the medium of visual poetry into the medium of animated film. In a broader sense, the interrelationships between literary, visual and film art and visual poetry and animated film are explored. In doing so, visual poetry is understood as a visual sign structure analogous to an ideographic letter, which is entirely the result of an individual author’s poetic concept. This concept excludes the “carmine figurate” model (that letters, syllables, words and verses mimic reality forms), and implies the hypervisualization of a completely individualized morphology / form. In the narrower sense, the project is examining the possibility of universal reception of the image within the frame of image. By questioning the unambiguous and definitive reception or legibility of the visual / graphic sign, the project views the consumption of this type of text as its prolonged performance. The consumption of such a cultural text is a continuation of its production.
