/ Personal Data Protection

The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 has come into force on 25 May 2018. The General Regulation is adopted by all the member states of the European Union, including the Republic of Croatia. The General Regulation stipulates the principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency when processing personal data.

As a unit of the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek, the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek has adopted the General Regulation in order to protect personal data. The Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek collects and processes data in a transparent way and only to the extent required by the official activities of the Academy which are based on acts and regulations, or the processing of which is necessary for the fulfilment of contracts or is specially approved.
