Dr. Dejana Bouillet, full professor in tenure, (social pedagogue) is a full professor in tenure. She is employed at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb. She received her bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees from the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation of the same university. Her research focuses on various aspects of social and inclusive pedagogy. She explores and teaches a wide range of etiological, phenomenological and interventional aspects of risks of social exclusion of children and young people, especially in the educational context. In one term she was a member of the Board of the Croatian Association of Social Educators, and currently holds the position of member of the presidency of the Croatian Association for Educational Research and is president of the Ethics Committee of the Croatian Chamber of Social Educators. She is a member of the Commission for taking professional exams of social pedagogues employed in the education system (for primary and secondary schools). She is the author of three university textbooks, 11 manuals and professional books, and about a hundred scientific papers. She is the winner of two special dean’s awards for outstanding scientific contribution (for 2016 and 2019).
