The right of access to information in the possession of the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek, the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek is regulated by the Act on the Right of Access to Information (Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia Nos 25/13, 85/15). All Croatian and foreign natural and legal persons have the right of access to information in an equal manner and on equal terms.

Exercising the right of access to information
The right of access to information can be exercised by submitting a request to the information officer. For the written request, one should use the request for access to information form or point out that the access to information is requested in accordance with the Act on the Right of Access to Information.
The access to information in possession of the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek, the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek can be requested:

In order to be valid, the request for access to information must include:
- name and headquarters address of the institution to which the request is being sent
- data necessary for the identification of the requested information
- name, surname and the complete address of the natural person requesting information
- company, i.e. the name of the legal person and the headquarters address
Requests which do not include the information mentioned above will not be considered.

The University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek, the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek has the right to charge a fee for the actual material costs incurred by providing information to the person exercising the right of access to information as well as a fee for the costs of supplying the requested information, which shall be charged in accordance with the Criteria for Determining the Amount of the Fee and the Method of Collecting the Fee (Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia, Nos 12/14, 15/14).
