Upon completion of the programme students will have the knowledge and skills needed for the simple animation of body parts. They are capable of giving life and particular character to specific body parts, working with puppets in simple etudes. They can combine the learnt animation elements, organise and combine different body parts depending on their subject of interest. They will be able to use puppets as live beings and react to different conditions and situations. They will have good foundations for the further study of the animation of body parts and finger puppets.

Upon completion of the programme students will understand the methodology of including finger puppets and the animation of body parts in different educational processes for a wide variety of age groups, knowing the various means of using a better and more efficient way of using puppets as aids for the purpose of creative art therapies: puppets as means of introspection and distancing oneself from one’s own “I” without stress, overcoming problems with learning, helping personal expression and socialisation of children with disabilities, etc.
