/ Design of New Media Forms and Content

During the past two decades, we have observed dramatic changes in communication and media reality. The civilisation produces an overwhelming amount of information regarding every human activity. The life in the age of information and digital technology implies a constant exposure to forms of expression such as web pages, the bastard forms of images and texts, photography, contemporary computer interfaces. The design of new media forms and content is a programme that teaches students how to create the prototypes of contemporary new media forms. Students will learn how to independently design (the appearance and functions of) web pages, applications, software and similar media objects. The teaching process starts with the main principles of design, moving on to the main elements of functionality and the final product.
