/ User Interface Design

The design of user interfaces, also known as “Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)”, is an interdisciplinary field of study which creates products that have meaningful and useful effects on users. This includes the design of products or services, their branding, market research and the design of the prototype. Students will acquire the competences which will enable them to understand the phenomenon of user interfaces within the wider scope of human-computer interactions. They will also be able to use vector and raster applications (Adobe CC) as well as applications for the design of user interfaces (Figma). The aim is to teach students how to use the already mentioned applications and create the prototype of a digital user interface (UI) which meets the demands of the contemporary user experience (UX), e.g. an interface for smartphones and smartwatches.

Programme duration: 60 hours.

ECTS credits awarded: 10.

The programme is categorised as a programme offering the acquisition and development of competences for personal, social or professional needs.

  • recognise, analyse and critically assess different forms of digital media
  • compare specific tools and technologies used in the creation of different media and multimedia content
  • use a vector graphics software
  • use a raster graphics software
  • apply complex techniques and methods in order to create digital interfaces in the form of the prototype of digital platforms

Programme fee: 331,00 EUR (2,500,00 HRK). The fee includes the cost of the certificate which certifies that the student has completed the programme.
