Our online application portal for summer semester 2020 exchanges will be
open *from 1 October*. Students, who wish to spend an exchange
semester at our university in the *summer semester 2020*, are welcome to
apply *until 31 October 2019*.

1.NOMINATIONS – Deadline 15 October 2019
Please ensure that you nominate your student/s by using this short survey (one survey per nominated student):

All nominations should comply with the number of students and fields of study stated in our partnership agreement. If you already nominated your
students via email, please also submit this survey.

2. ONLINE APPLICATION – Deadline 31 October 2019
After having received your nominations, and starting later this month, we will contact your students directly and send them a link to our
online application portal. The list of the required support documents can be found on our website

Applications can be submitted and all documents uploaded via our portal by 31 October 2019.

3. STUDY PROGRAMMES
Additionally to our regular study programs in German, Stuttgart Media University offers a variety of courses taught in English.

Each Minor is a set one semester long program consisting of a minimum of 30 ECTS.
Please note, that each Minor is a /fixed/ program and it is normally /not /possible to select and combine courses from several Minors.

4. ACCOMMODATION IN HALLS

Application Deadline 31 October 2019
Due to ongoing refurbishment work at the student dormitories in Stuttgart, Studierendenwerk Stuttgart

won’t be able to guarantee a place in the halls for all students.

It is therefore very important that your students apply for accommodation by the deadline 31 October 2019, and complete also any following steps immediately and as advised. That way they have a better chance of getting a room in one of the residence halls. Studierendenwerk Stuttgart hope to allocate rooms to the majority of the students, but have very strict processes and deadlines all universities have to follow. HdM does not own any halls of residence, and we therefore are part of this city-wide accommodation network.

but please do underline the importance of keeping the deadlines, and the fact that at this point we cannot guarantee a room.
