/ Introduction to Acting and Puppetry

The intensive programme “Introduction to Acting and Puppetry” presents to young people the main principles of acting and puppetry embraced at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek. This programme is unique due to its individual approach to every student, focusing on the segments which require improvement. It develops motor skills, spatial presence, imagination and new ways of observing the inanimate world (as a puppeteer and an actor). The programme is carried out by the teachers of the undergraduate and graduate study programmes of Acting and Puppetry at the Department of Theatre of the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek. They have extensive practical experience and participate in theatre projects as directors, actors, puppeteers and members of the creative team (choreographers, lighting designers, composers of music, etc.) with considerable pedagogic experience in leading drama and puppetry workshops for children and young people.
