Step 1 – UNIOS International Relations Office

• Upon arrival in Osijek, you have to contact UNIOS International Relations Office, located at the address Trg Svetog Trojstva 3 (Old Town – Tvrđa).
• Registration takes place on the first working day following your arrival in Osijek. IR Office regular working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 3pm.
• Within your registration at the IR Office you will be given further instructions about enrolment procedure at your host faculty Student Affairs Office, and you will be assisted in further steps concerning other formalities.

 Step 2: Student Affairs Office at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek

• After you have contacted the International Relations Office at our University, you have to come to the Student Affairs Office at the Academy, which can be found on University Campus, at the address: Kralja Petra Svačića 1/F.
• The regular working hours of the office are Monday – Friday, 8am – 3pm.
• The contact person who will meet you there and give you all the necessary information and issue your student ID card (called the X card, or iksica in Croatian) is Josip Horvat (jhorvat@uaos.hr).
  • Iksica or the X card, is a sort of a pre-paid card used in students’ cafeterias and restaurants. It is not only a “licence to eat”, but also a card that proves your student status, so you can get some tickets and services at a reduced price.

For Internships!

Students doing an Erasmus internship at the Academy are not issued the X card.
